This is a graduation work 2022 of Tokyo University of the Arts, a.k.a Geidai. The artist is Koichiro Azuma, who was a graduate master of Inter-Media Art. When you pedal the bike in the upper right corner, all the wheels would work in tandem. Some rotate to the right, others do to the left. It’s a spectacular sight. GEIDAI is the premier art university in Japan. Its graduation exhibition is full of freshness of future artists. You can witness the very begging of their career. It is held at the end of January every year. Note that the duration of it will be short, around 6 days, and need to be reserved. Besides, it’s free! Please check their website. They have an English version. Geidai is located in Ueno, an area lined with art museums. This is a very good place for a stroll. I heard that the students of Geidai can enter all of the museums in Ueno for free. I envy them!
