The riverside of Kanda river is full of cherry blossoms around the end of March. This is the West Shinjuku area. Compared to the Meguro river, less crowded. You can watch cherry blossoms everywhere in Japan. At school, hospital, park( either large or small) someone’s house garden, just around the corner of the street, station, riverside, etc. Famous places are always crowded. But cherry trees just around the corner of the street are not. You can enjoy watching them as much as you want. When you don’t know where is the cherry blossoms are at your place, you can ask the policeman. They are kind enough to show you the way.
